In my case 60% worked fine. Now place the girl in the desired place on the image so it will look like this girl was in this image originally. Experiment with size and position to get the best results.


Press Enter. Zoom in your image. See those white areas left after selection? Let’s get rid of it!


Go to Layer-Defringe :

Let’s make the image look more realistic. Take the Eraser tool and erase some parts of her legs, so it will look like the girl remains behind the grass and roots:




To make this procedure more comfortable, lower the opacity of the layer with the girl:

Listen-the forest has some bright colors, but our girl hasn’t. Make a duplicate layer to fix it: Layer-Duplicate Layer and change it’s mode to Soft Light:
